Welcome! My name is Barbara Finch, and I am a largely self-taught jewelry designer with over 20 years of experience. Venus Rising Designs offers you jewelry and other pieces that are lovingly handcrafted for you to enjoy for many years to come.
I create my jewelry with a variety of styles and materials, and most pieces are one of a kind. I am constantly searching for new and unusual beads, which come from all over the world. I love to use semi-precious gemstones, genuine Swarovski® crystals, vintage and artisan lampwork beads, freshwater pearls, leather, and Czech and Indian glass. I primarily use gold-filled and sterling silver, but you will also find copper or other metals incorporated in some pieces.
Are you allergic to metals? Email me when you buy a pair of earrings, and I can switch the earwires to simple ones made with nonallergenic materials at no extra charge. I can also switch most earrings to posts if requested.
